On Your Special Day

 Morning friends!  Another card done in a favourite combo of grey and custard card.  I started by embossing a white piece of card using my Cascading Hearts embossing folder to give my background some interesting texture.   I stamped the Vintage Floret Frame using a black archival ink pad and cut it out with the matching die set.  I decided to frame it to change the edge shape a bit so I cut a frame using the Radiant Rectangles and custard coloured card.  I glued it to the edge of the Floret Frame, then nipped away any excess that showed.  I cut an Enchanted Labels 28 and cut it to use just the top of the die.  I adhered both of them on the sides of my frame using a bit of Cosmic Shimmer dries clear glue.  I cut out several of the smaller Vintage Floret flowers out of both white and custard card.  I stamped them all with a clear Perfect Medium pad and heat embossed them with Silver Shine embossing powder.  I used two die cuts per flower and offset them, adding a flatback pearl to the centres of each.  I glued them in place to my frame.  I stamped my sentiment and centred it in the opening in the frame.  I tied a messy bow out of seam binding and added a fancy pearl button from the Tim Holtz accoutrement collection.  The card was matted with a custard mat, then a double mat of grey card which I pierced around the edges.  The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.
