Hello to everyone! As the title says it's a black and white Christmas today! I started with the Wild Poinsettia embossing folder to give my white background some texture. To the bottom of the card, I added some pretty black and white decorative paper and a piece of the new scrummy black layered scalloped lace. I decided it needed a small border in between the two sections so I opted for a thin border using just an edgeability insert for a bit of fun. I cut both of the small baubles that come with the new holiday tree die for my focal elements. I cut them both three times and scored them down the centre. I glued them back to back to form the 3D ornaments and hung them with a bit of black and white Bakers Twine, finished with a small bow atop each ornament. I tied a large double bow with the black Silky Crush ribbon, added a round Dazzler and a couple of pearl stick pins to finish it. I pierced the edges on this one for a framed look (as I do). There is a spot for a sentiment in the upper corner, but I just liked the look of it without one (easy enough to add if you wanted, though). A little tip on those small baubles, use your wax paper or greaseproof paper on them as they are very detailed and prove difficult to remove from the die without it. All for now, Sue x
Fantastic card, sue u spoil us with sll your great ideas - cant wait to make this one (",)
