Make A Wish

Hi there my crafty blog friends!  Dandelion wishes for today.  I love this new stamp set and they are so versatile.  Here I have stamped it using a clear Perfect Medium pad and embossed it with white powder.  I used Mustard Seed distress ink in the centre of the image.  Next, I used Spiced Marmalade distress ink and blended it in to the outside of the image, using the yellow to gradate the colour outward.  I used Black Soot distress ink around the very edge as a shadow for the octagonal shape. I stamped my sentiment with a black archival ink pad.  I cut the octagon aperture out of white card and mounted it on foam pieces to recess my image in the frame.  I pierced around the edge of the outer white mat to complete the card.  All in all, this one took less than 15 minutes to complete.  You could easily change this card to any colours that you like and personalise the sentiment for your needs and still have a quick and pretty card ready to go in no time.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Morning Sue, not too sure about this card. The dandelion stamp is lovely but orange is not my favourite colour and it also looks as if it needs finishing, maybe one of your lovely bows.
