Happy Sunday! You know what that means, don't you? More winners in the comment game. First to the card though. A simple cross card in teal, cream and black. I embossed the background using double sided coordinations card and the Valor Embossibility folder. I sanded it once embossed to show the teal colour and distress it a bit. Next I cut two of the Labels 24 and interlocked them. I did this a lot as I thought it worked so well with many of the dies from the last shows (and that was the only label shape besides the square swatches that I had to work with!) I cut the largest cross twice from milk cardstock from the neutral cardpack. The first cross served as my base. The second one I cut, I removed the arms and used the very centre but did not punch out the fall away pieces. Instead, I taped the back of the piece to keep them intact for a more solid look. I like the way you can see the cut lines though. I mounted this piece on foam and attached it the the cross for dimension. I added a large half pearl to cover the centre hole. I cut a piece of the cream crocheted ribbon and wrapped it around the bottom of the card and secured it to the back. I tied a double bow and added a pearl brad to the centre and attached it to the bottom centre of my card. No sentiment again, but a tag could be easily stamped and added to the bow depending on the occasion.
