Wishing You A Day Filled With Sunshine
Hello crafters! I used the Double Stitched Rectangles and cut a piece of white card to use for the background. I stamped the background village from the Cottage Scenes Stamp set. I inked the area above it with Tumbled Glass distress ink. I cut the Keeper's Cottage in blue card and added a grey roof and a teal door. I added it to the left side of the card with a streetlamp next to it. I cut the Book Shop out of cobalt blue and added lime green windows and door. I cut the Awning out of white card and filled in the name with a black marker. I cut the Primrose Cottage out of shades of purple and added it at the bottom of the card. I stamped the sentiment in black in the corner. I added several trees around the buildings as accents. I cut the Looped Rectangles in white and matted the scene on top of it. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size.

Good Morning Sue and all that visit today. I love your little village ... It could have been in keeping with the weather ... And been a snow scene as most of country is at the moment. Exited kids as schools are not opening at the moment! Also some businesses are not reopening yet. Great for the crafters ... another day in our favourite places in the craft room. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏.

Hi Sue. What a lovely card today. I particularly like the stamp that you have used in the background which adds so much depth to the scene without too much effort and this stamp could be used for the background for many other die that you have designed.
