Hello crafters! I cut the Floral Melody Cover Plate with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card. I used the white embossed copy to colour the design with alcohol ink markers in shades of red, yellow and orange. I covered it with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet, then added the black die cut on top. I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the remaining sticky areas. I cut a larger piece of white card and glued the die to it. I cut the Hello Dear Friend in black and glued it to the white card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 7" in size. https://www.creative-expressions.uk.com/product/creative-expressions-sue-wilson-frames-tags-floral-melody-cover-plate-craft-die/

Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Sue but this just isn't for me. I know you can't please everyone and today it has to be my turn. I just can't get on with the black background. The die itself is lovely and the flower colours are too, but the background isn't for me. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏.
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

A very striking card but I’m not sure about it. Think it’s perhaps too dark for me? Thank you Sue.
ReplyDeleteLoving the sparkle but maybe a bit too much black for me. X
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, beautiful colours and colouring but I think I would probably have used maybe a brown or copper colour for the base rather than black which I find a bit stark.
