Hello crafters! I cut the Floral Harmony Cover Plate with a piece o black card on top of a piece of white card.n I used the white embossed card to colour the image with alcohol ink markers. I glued the black die cut on top of the coloured image. I used Cosmic Lacquer on the red flowers in the image and set it aside to dry thoroughly. I added it to a larger piece of white card. I cut the Love You Always sentiment in red and black. I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the red die cut and glued it to the white card. The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 7" in size.

Morning Sue. What a stunning card. I do love how the colours pop against the black background although I can understand that some people might think the black is a bit sombre. Would it have the same impact if a different colour was used? I have used gloss black before to change the look.
