Sweet Wishes
Good Sunday morning all! I started today's card by cutting the Floral Medley flowers in both teal and ocean card. I cut the stems out of olive green card and assembled the flowers. Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I cut a thin white frame and added mounting foam to the back then attached it to a piece of white card. I cut a piece of Silver Sparkle card using the Double Stitched Rectangles and I glued it inside the frame. I glued the assembled flowers inside the frame. I cut a butterfly in black and coloured it with teal and aqua markers, then added it in the upper corner. I cut the Sweet Wishes sentiment in black and glued it to the top inside of the frame. I added the frame to a wide, white piece of card. I ran a bead of glue around the edges, then glittered it. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/4" in size.
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a beautiful sweet card today, elegant as well. I have some of the CE Velvet Dust which would also look lovely as the background for the flowers instead of glitter. Love the colours of the flowers too.

Hi Sue. What an elegant card today. I find more simple cards quite hard to make as it is difficult to hide any mistakes, but your dies make this so easy to achieve.
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a beautiful sweet card today, elegant as well. I have some of the CE Velvet Dust which would also look lovely as the background for the flowers instead of glitter. Love the colours of the flowers too.
