Lena
Good Sunday morning all! I selected a piece of white card as the background. Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I made a multi-layered frame using a wider white base and a thin frame of soft Lavender card on top. I added the frame with mounting foam on to a Noble Looped Rectangle cut in white. I cut the Lena die with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card as I ran it through the die cutting machine. I used the white embossed copy to colour the image. I used alcohol markers in shades of purple for the flowers. I seated the die cut in the frame and added the centre floral piece with mounting foam. I added some pearls as accents and completed the card with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. What a really ornate card today showing how you can mix and match dies from different sets to create such an interesting frame. Love the Lena die which I think gives a nod to the art nouveau style with the lovely flowers. Love it.

This one looks familiar. Think it was when you introduced us to the noble looped rectangles in the new launch. Not that I mind- it was gorgeous then and just as much so now. Colours are lovely and so easy to change to suit the recipient.
Hi Sue, a beautiful card and I love the colours and the tiny pearls on the trelliswork. It really looks like a picture and I think that if I made this I would put acetate behind the raised frame and hang it on the wall :-)
