Season's Greetings

Hello crafters!  I started by cutting the three trees from the Bubble Tree-O die set out of antique gold card.  I backed each of the trees with gold mirror card.  I embossed a piece of black card with the Falling Snow Embossing Folder.  I used a small amount of Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish over the top of the embossed piece of card.  Using the Clipped Corner Rectangles, I cut a black frame and attached it with mounting foam over the embossed card.  I attached the three trees inside the frame.  I added the frame to a larger piece of black card and cut the Season's Greeting sentiment out of Antique Gold card and shadowed it with a gold mirror card then glued it below the frame.  The card was completed with white, gold, and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I love the new tree bauble dies from this years collection, and this sample is lovely, I don't think the black background doe it credit though, I would have used a different colour to frame the trees, but that is just me, so don't worry, I still love all your dies and creations Sue.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

A lovely card. The bubble tree dies are great, and the falling snow embossing folder is one of my most used folders.

  15. Hello Sue. Love this card today. I can't stop using the Christmas tree dies, they make such wonderful modern-looking cards. Like Carol, I thought the gold mirri card had a painted effect on it but I think it must be a reflection (it's really difficult to photograph mirri card without picking up something in the background)
