Hello there my crafty friends! I began today's card by cutting the Layered Daisies in two shades of pink and the leaves in to shades of green. I assembled all the flowers and greenery and arranged them on a piece of white card. Using the Round Corner Squares, I made a multi-layered frame with a white base and a thin lilac frame on top. I added it over the flowers with mounting foam. I cut the Birthday Wishes Background in black and used the Birthday Wishes from the centre of it. I glued them on top of the flowers and below the flowers. I cut a white butterfly from the Dainty Butterfly set and glittered it then added it into the upper corner of the frame. I added the frame to a larger piece of white card and added double sided sticky tape to the edge then glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I added some random clear water crystals as accents. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size. All for now. Sue x
What a beautiful sight. A true Sue Wilson piece of inspiration, yet another gift worthy of a frame and mounted on a wall for a very special keepsake.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly bought a smile on my face after being awake for the majority of the night with an unwell fur baby, so vets for her, ENT clinic for me again when I'll find out when I'm going back to theatre!!

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sue. Ohhh this is gorgeous. We can never have enough flowers can we. They are there for a multitude of reasons. Firstly as a wonderful decoration and also to cover up the odd mistake or smudge of ink. Yes butterflies and flowers ... Like diamonds ... Are a girls best friends. Thankyou Sue.
