Get Well
Hello there my crafty friends! I selected a piece of Iris card to use as the background for today's card. I used the Heart Scalloped border and cut it into the card on the top and bottom of the card. I backed the entire piece with white card. Next I cut the Clipped Corner Rectangles and made a multi-layered frame. I used wisteria card for the base, then added a white frame on top. I added it to the centre of the card with mounting foam. Using the Cabbage Rose Stampcut die, I inked it with a water based black in, then ran it through my die cutting machine. I used alcohol ink markers to colour the image. I added it to the inside of the frame with mounting foam. I cut the Get Well sentiment in white and glued it to the right of the flowers in the frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 8 3/4 in size. All for now, Sue x
Hi Sue.
ReplyDeleteI love the effect the heart scalloped border gives, I also love that you left the top layer with just the heart effect before adding the borders and floral element, it's one of those designs that would go to someone dear to you, plus its open for almost all of your sentiment dies, yes, it really is a lovely xxx
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same as you Steph, that
any sentiment would work a treat with the
design. The wisteria is a lovely colour too.
