Hello bloggers! I just loved the look of the flowers done in soft pink so I had to make another card! I cut a piece of white card on the diagonal, then added mounting foam to both pieces to raise it. I attached the top piece to another piece of white card. I left the bottom piece off for the moment. Using the Layered Apple Blossoms, I made eight flowers using two shades of pink card and added soft yellow centres to each of them. I glued them into place along the diagonal, tucking the edges of the flowers just under the lip of the top piece of white card. I added the bottom piece just over the bottom of the flowers. I cut the Apple Blossom buds and added them to the stems and glued it to the bottom of the card. I used the Noble Just Because sentiment cut out of powder pink and glued it to the top of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Oh my word Sue what a beautiful delicate relaxed way to start the day, it's so pretty, and I completely agree with your thoughts of how pretty in pink the flowers look particularly that you've kept the white card mat plain, nothing detracts from the beauty of this design.
