Hi bloggers! I selected a piece of coral card to use as the background. I taped together three of the dies from the Decorative Squared Rectangle dies and cut them into the card. I backed it with a piece of black card. I inked the Petunia Stampcut die in black and cut it. Using alcohol ink markers, I coloured the image. I attached the image in the middle of the card with mounting foam. Using the Dainty Butterflies die set, I cut three of them in white and glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I added them around the card, leaving the wings to lift up for movement. I cut the Have A Wonderful Day from the Birthday Wordie Sheets and added it with mounting foam. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue and all that visit today.
ReplyDeleteApart from the colour, I love the design, like my comment previously I use these bold colours for small dies to give it a pop, it could be how my phone sees it, but too much colour for a base.
Hope everyone is doing OK and enjoying the spell of dry weather xx
ReplyDeleteWow, a stunning card; like Steph, I'm not sure

Hi Sue. Love the design of today's card, especially the frames of squares cut into the card. I wish I could see all your cards in real life as I am sure the colours look completely different to the way they come across on my laptop screen.
