Hello there my crafty friends! I cut a piece of white car to use as the background for today's card. Next I used the Layered Apple Blossoms and cut them out of vellum. I cut both the parts of the flowers and the leaves. I used Distress ink and coloured the back of the vellum. I used Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick inks for the flowers and Fossilized Amber for the centres of the flowers. and Crushed Olive ink for the leaves. I assembled the flowers and attached them in a diagonal across the card. I cut the Noble Thinking Of You out of Silver Shine card and added it above and below the flowers. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size. Don't forget to check back tomorrow morning for the winner of the April release die collection! All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh Sue this is such a beautiful card today, it says it all for me as today would have been my Mum's birthday and it is also the day my Dad passed away as well, so it is if this card is made just for me, of curse that is silly but it is such a beautiful card, I am going to have a go at the vellum with the inks behind - such a beautiful creation with the lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sue. This is such a lovely delicate card today . It seems to say something that would be special to just someone ... I hope you know what I mean. It seems hard to explain. Please stay safe and well 🙏.Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteI always love your flower dies and the way you use them on your cards, however, these look exceptionally beautiful. I love the colours you’ve used behind the velum and the way you’ve placed them on the card. The sentiment, in style and colour compliment them perfectly. A really beautiful card and I have to say one of my favourites. I will definitely be trying out your velum technique.
