Hello crafters! I use the Slimline Looped Rectangles and cut two of them in white for a double mat base. Using the Layered Sunflowers, I cut three flowers out of two shades of yellow card. I assembled the flowers then added brown centres and glued clear micro beads to them. I added leaves cut from two shades of green card as accents. I cut the Noble Thinking Of You sentiment in brown and glued it to the background. The Dainty Butterflies were cut from straw card and added to the side of the sentiment. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 5 1/2" x 10" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteHi Sue and all that visit this inspiring blog.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you comment yesterday JUNE HORROCKS xx
Today's pretty inspirational sample is just lovely, and would be appropriate for an alternative sympathy card, or for someone that's not well, or feeling really down, or just to cheer someone up you've not seen for a while to let them know you think of them. It's a lovely size, and I'm struggling to decide which of your January 2023 flower dies I'd love to order. Thank you for today's inspiration and I'm sending love and gentle hugs to all our blog friends xxx
Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteA really sweet card. The slimline looped rectangles look great here. The sentiment is nice and bold and the microbeads in the flower centres look good. All finished off with a couple of cute butterflies.
