Good Sunday morning all! I used the Chip The Chick die set and cut three large Chip dies out of custard card. I cut three of the large eggs in white and glued them on to the Chips that I cut. I coloured the beak orange and used a pencil to add in the eyes. I had some yellow feathers in my stash so I added them to each of the chick wings. I attached the Chips vertically to a piece of white card. I cut two strips of white card and matted them with a thin black mt. I added mounting foam to the back of both of the strips and attached them to the sides of the card. Using the Easter Eggs & Flowers die set, I added flowers down both strips in an assortment of pastel card colours. I cut the Thing Spring sentiment in black and added it to the centre of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, a lovely fun style card. Studying the project pictures I thought I saw feathers and immediately went to look mine out but do you think I could find them, of course not :-( I will have another search (I definitely have too much stuff) but I am wondering if Flowersoft would be a suitable alternative texture, I shall have to try it unless the wonderful Wilsonettes have any other suggestions.
