Hello bloggers! I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Art Deco Rose Swirl Embossing Folder. Next I cut a smaller piece of white card and matted it with Blue Dusk card and attached it to the centre of the card. I cut the Easter Basket die out of pink card. I used Blue and yellow slats to weave through the uprights on the basket to create more of a whimsical looking Easter Basket. I cut several eggs from the Easter Egg & Flower die set and added them to the basket. I cut a yellow bow and put it on the handle. Down the sides, I cut the Flowers from the Easter Egg & Flower die set in yellow, pink and blue and added green stems to all of them. I attached them on both sides of the basket. I cut the Easter Wishes in Blue and shadowed it in white and attached it below the basket. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Hi Sue and all that pop in today. Hope everyone is feeling as well as they can be.
ReplyDeleteSue, I think this is the prettiest 'adult' Easter card I've seen here this year, the pastel shades look just beautiful but I've just jumped out of the box this very second talking about adult Easter cards, how about getting completely away from pastels and add purple and gold, or midnight blue Shimmer card and gold or silver eggs? Well let's face it friends just look on the shelves to see what colours are about for the richer more 'adult' eggs.
Today's inspiration is full of spring and hope, and at this time of year what more do we want?
Love to all and virtual hugs to those that need them xxx
