Hi bloggers! I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Floral Brocade embossing folder. I used the Double Stitched Ovals and made a large white frame and attached it to a piece of white card with mounting foam. I added some Tumbled Glass ink to the centre of the white card. Using the Floral Wishes die, I cut it in green to use as the base. Next I cut it again in all the colours of the flowers (red, blue, purple). I nipped the flowers off of the die cuts and glued them on to the green base die. I cut the banner again in white with the Best Wishes sentiment and added it to the die. I cut the best wishes again in blue and paper pieced the letters into the white banner. I added the completed die to the centre of the frame with mounting foam. I cut three butterflies from the Butterfly Delights, glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and added them to the frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Hiya Sue.
ReplyDeleteI think we all fell in love with this cute inspiration at launch, the first thing I thought of was embroidery, something similar to what we'd see framed on our grandparents or great grandparents wall. It's so pretty, it kind of shows your happy friendly personality, the colours and freshness all say this is Sue Wilson... hope you understand what I'm trying to say?
Love to all that visit, I think so much of those that are under the weather, I think so much of those feeling down and upset, I think of those that are really struggling with everything at the moment, blog friends I've never seen but I can't help but feel some concern xxx
Morning Sue.
ReplyDeleteA very very pretty card thank you.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Beautiful card Sue xx Hazel

Morning Sue, a really pretty card and because you have to cut the flower die out in 3 different colours, you have enough left over to make another couple of cards with the left overs!. I like that.

Morning Sue - this is so pretty. I wondered at first if I was having a touch of deja vous, being sure I’d seen this on the blog before - and there it is, on 15 November! Still, it’s so pretty, why not let it have a repeat performance?! Colleen xx
ReplyDeleteGood morning Sue. Ohhh I fell in love with this one at the launch. It is SO BEAUTIFUL. I couldn't and still can't take my eyes from it. Imagine feeling down in the dumps or not quite yourself ... when this drops through you door. Instant recovery. Well... That's my opinion anyway. Thankyou Sue.
