You Are So Special
Hello bloggers! Here's a card that uses the Butterfly Rectangle in a different sort of way. I cut the Butterfly Rectangle out of white card several times. I nipped away the two longer sides of a couple of the Butterfly Rectangles. I selected a piece of Pixied card fro my stash for the background. It used Lava Red and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders. I glued the four trimmed die cuts to the edges of the background. I cut a smaller square of the pixied card and used the shorter sides of the Butterfly rectangles and glued them to the edges of the smaller pixied card. I added mounting foam to the back to raise it then seated it in the centre of the card. I cut the You Are So Special Block sentiment twice. Once out of white card and once out of black card. I removed the sentiments from both of them, then used the black die cut as a shadow behind the white sentiment and glued it in the centre of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 7 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Oh beautiful just beautiful. I also see this in white on white with sparkles that would take anyone's breath away, this design would make the prettiest of wedding cards for that extra special couple, wow Sue you really are taking my breath away lately.
