Happy Birthday
Good Sunday morning all! I have a fun shaker card to share with you today. I selected a piece of raspberry card for the background. I used the Looped Squares to make a white multi-layered frame. I used the Double Stitched Squares to cut the inside of the frame. I glued a piece of clear acetate to the inside of the frame, the added mounting foam to the back of the frame. I cut the Looped Squares in orange, raspberry and yellow card and saved the fall away pieces and used them in the frame for the shaker pieces. I added a white backing to the frame to encapsulate the shaker pieces, then glued it on to the raspberry background. I used one of the Birthday Gifts and cut it in three colours, then layered them and added a white bow. I glued it onto the top of the acetate. I cut the Noble Happy Birthday die in both white and black, shadowed it then glued it below the framed shaker element. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8" in size. All for now. Sue x
