Hello crafters! I selected a pretty piece of Pixied card from my background stash to use as the background for today'a card. I used Midnight Blue Pixie Powders on a piece of white gloss card. I covered it with a piece of cling film and scrunched it to make the lines in the card. Using the cutting die from the Avery die, I cut an aperture in the middle of the card. Next I cut the outer thin frame in white and glued it around the aperture. I added mounting foam to the back and attached it to a piece of white card. I cut the Avery die in white, cutting the centre of it out, then glued it to the blue fall away piece from the aperture. I recessed it down into the aperture and added the All The Best sentiment cut in black and glued to a white shadow backing. Using the Daisy Cluster, I cut two in white and two in black. I used the black die cut as a shadow behind the white one. I cut the matching flowers out of white card covered with a sticky adhesive sheet. I peeled the backing paper off then attached them behind the ???? and added Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to the remaining exposed adhesive. I did this to both of the Daisy Clusters I glued them into opposite corners. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Good Morning Sue and all.

Good Morning Sue. Another beautiful card today . And one that could be sent to anyone for any occasion. I don't have the Avery die but I do have lots of your other dies that have a very thin border that can be used instead . And I will have a go. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.

SO SORRY SUE. I won't be around for a few days. We are going on a dance festival and there is definitely no Wi-Fi there. Unless we get out somewhere where I can use their Wi-Fi it will be Tuesday when I next post. I will have to scroll back when I get home to see what I have missed
Take Care.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Love that blue background. I also love the thin spotty border around the die. Although it is a small, unassuming element it really makes the main element stand out for me.
