selected a piece from my background stash to use as the background for today's card. I used the Pumpkin Patch Pixie Sparkle on it. Using the Claire die, I cut an aperture in the middle of the card. I added mounting foam to the back to raise it and I attached a piece of black card to the back. Next I cut the outermost dies from the Claire set to create the thin frame and I glued it around the opening of the aperture. I cut the Claire die into the fall away piece from the aperture, then recessed it down into the opening, allowing the black backing card to show through. I cut two more of the Claire die, one in white and one in black. I shadowed the black die cut with the white one, then cut it into four pieces. I glued the four pieces into the corners and trimmed away the excess. I cut the For You sentiment out of leftover Pixied card, then shadowed it in black. I cut a small white frame using the Double Pierced Circles, then added a white backing to it and glued the sentiment into the centre. I seated it in the centre of the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
