Sending Lots Of Happiness
Hi bloggers! I pulled out a Caught In Crystal piece from my background stash pile to begin today's card. I used a piece of clear acetate and applied Clear Cosmic Laquer all over it. Next I tapped Golden Mint and Aqua Lagoon Pixie Powders all over it. I covered it with a piece of scrunched up tissue paper and set it aside to dry overnight. Next I cut the Button Flower background in white and cut the centre out of it. I cut the Button Flower floral panel and used markers to colour the flowers, stems and leaves. I covered a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet, then cut it with the rectangle backing die. I peeled the backing paper off and attached the Button Flower panel to it. I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the remaining exposed adhesive. I cut both the floral and foliage panel in white and nipped them out of the frame. I attached them coming from the edge of the Button Flower panel. I cut the Sending Lots Of Happiness in black and glued it to the top of the card. The card was comlpeted with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8 1/4 in size.
Good morning Sue

Morning Sue.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card thank you.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Another beautiful design today, just one thing that jumped out at me is that the flowers on the panel clash slightly with the background only slightly which is why I'd have kept it plain white, or used the off cut of background to use on the flowers, saying that I'm no designer and it's not my sample lol it's yours and your idea so I need to butt out lol.
ReplyDeleteGood luck for the launch draw later let's hope the website picks lots of names we all recognise.
Love and good health to our lovely group xxx
