Hugs & Kisses

Hello there my crafty friends!  I selected a piece from my background stash to use as the background.  I had used Groovy Grape and Fuchsia Rose Pixie Sparkles on it.  I used the Decorative Noble Hearts and cut an aperture in the middle of the card.  I made a frame using the Decorative Hearts out of white card and added it with foam around the aperture opening.  I added a piece of white card to the back of the aperture, then recessed the fall away heart down into the opening.  I cut the Hugs & Kisses in black and glued it to the inside of the heart frame.   Using the Romantic Edger, I cut it in both white and black card.  I glued the white edge over the black hearts then added it to the bottom of the card.  I cut a few small flowers and added them to the top corner of the heart frame as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

    I do love it when you resurrect older dies that we haven’t seen for ages.I have quite a few of your edger dies and I used them so much when I first got them. But, like most of the dies in my collection, they become a bit redundant when all of your new dies arrive! It so nice to delve into the past x

    Hello Sue. I don't know how it happened but I managed to miss the blog for a couple of days but I felt I had to comment on this card because it is so lovely. I think that the border of hearts across the bottom just make it for me and I love the purple colour.
