Follow Your Heart

 Hello bloggers!  I started by making a caught in crystal background.  I used clear Cosmic lacquer on acetate then added some Beyond Blue and Teal Marine Pixie Sparkles to the mix.  I gently moved the powder around (I used my finger to spread it), then covered it with a scrunched up piece of tissue paper and st it aside to dry.  Once dry, I trimmed it to size.  I used the Slimline Rectangle Frames and made a white frame for it.  I decided to add a thinner frame to the centre so I used the Slimline Essential Frames to cut the black frame and glued it to the white frame.  I added it to the background with mounting foam.  I inked the Lace Heart Stampcut with Black Archival ink and ran it through the die cutting machine.  I coloured it with Distress markers (Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass).  I inked the die again and cut one more.  I then coloured just the inside of it and handcut around the inner heart and added it on top of the first one.    I added the heart die cut with foam to the left side of the card.  I cut the Follow Your Heart in both white and black and used the white as the shadow underneath.  I glued it to the right side of the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x  9"  in size.  All for now.
