If Friends Were Flowers
Good Sunday morning all! Today's card was made with various pieces of pixied card I found in my background stash. I started by using a piece made from Pale Olive Pixie Powders and cut the If Friends Were Flowers Slimline All In One out of it leaving a wide border around it. I used this one as a base and added other elements to it. I cut some of the small flowers out of a piece of Burnt Orange pixied card and glued them on top. Next I used a piece that was made with Scarlet Mist and cut some more of the smaller flowers and glued them on top of the base. I used a larger piece that was made with Straw Yellow and cut the three larger flowers out of it twice and doubled them for some dimension. I used a tea dye Distress marker in the centres of the larger flowers then glued clear micro beads to them. I cut a piece of white card an added a sticky adhesive sheet to it. I peeled off the other backing sheet then attached the Slimline die and glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I used the Slimline Essential Frames die and added a thin white frame to go around the If Friends Were Flowers die cut. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 4 1/2" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another beautiful flower card today on this dull and cold morning in Kent, UK. You can almost smell the aroma of the flower when looking at the card, brilliant.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Well that made sense if you know gobbligook lol so try again!!
ReplyDeleteHiya Sue, such a pretty sample, such delicate inspiration mostly, the subtle background and the sparkles, the tiny pretty little flowers, I feel the large yellow flowers distract the eye away from the beautiful friends all in one expression, on this occasion I think I'd have used the yellow flowers on another spring/summer project as the friends die should be the star of the show.
Wherever you are have a lovely fun day and keep safe xxx
