Hello bloggers and Happy Thanksgiving! I embossed a piece of white card with the Geo Trellis embossing folder for texture. I cut the House Front die out of soft salmon card as the base. I cut it again out of nutmeg brown card and cut away the two roof areas and glued them onto the base piece. I added some curtains from the House Front Accessories die set to the underside of the house (to show through to the front), then added white shutters to the outside of the windows. I also added a soft custard card backing to look like there is light coming from the inside of the house. I added a white door and a couple of window boxes with flowers as accents to the downstairs windows. I cut two of the Winter Pines out of Brunswick Green card and added them to the background so they are to the back and side of the house. I added the house with mounting foam on top. I cut the For Someone Special sentiment out of Coral card and added a black offset shadow and glued it to the top of the card. I completed the card with white, soft salmon and coral mats and layers. The finshed dimensions are 7" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to all.
A great card today thank you.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Morning Sue and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating. Love this card, so different and perfect for a new home card or just as the sentiment says for someone special. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
ReplyDeleteHAPPY THANKSGIVING to you both Sue and to all our American family, I hope this day will be the best celebration for a while, have a wonderful time xxx
ReplyDeleteThese new dies really made me smile on the day you first launched them, I had this thought that there are homes typical of this design somewhere in America and it would look so quaint, and expensive lol a bit like Father of the Bride films which I love and cry at every time I watch it lol anyway I adore this idea and the picture I saw on Pinterest with one of the homes decked and decorated for the Christmas season was adorable.
So I'll send lots of love to everyone that signs in and enjoy your day whatever your plans xxx
Good morning Sue and all.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card Sue. I just love it . The colours are beautiful and each compliments the other. The pink salmon is just right and must be the only colour I don't have.
Happy Thanksgiving.
