Thinking Of You
Good Sunday morning all! I started with the Stripes Embossing folder and embossed a piece of white card for texture. Next I cut the Filigree Artistry Scalloped Border die out of Blue Dusk card. I extended it so it was a bit longer by lining up the die and cutting it a second time. Working from the reverse side of the die, I pushed up all the decorative cuts and added small white flatback pearls to the centres of them as accents. I glued it to the left side of the background. I inked the Hydrangea Stampcut with black ink and ran it through the die cutting machine. I used Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, Forest Moss and Crushed Olive Distress Markers to colour it. I added some glitter to the centres of all of the flowers. The Hydrangea was added to the bottom of the Scalloped Border with mounting foam. I cut the Thinking Of You out of Blue Dusk card and added a black die cut shadow to it. I glued it to the Stripe background in the upper right corner. The card was completed with white and blue dusk mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
