Happy Birthday

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's card was made from several leftover pieces from earlier cards.  I started by making pieces of Glitter Kiss card.  I used Rose Copper , Iced Blue and Bordeaux Gltter Kiss.  I cut the Birthday Big Bold Word die out of them.  I originally used the fall away pieces for other cards and was left with the actual word outline so that is what I used here.  I cut the Birthday word out of all the pieces of Glitter Kiss card.   I embossed a piece of white card with the Stripes embossing folder.  Next, I added the Bordeaux outline then the Iced Blue outline and then the Rose Copper outline, slightly offsetting both of them.  I added the embossed piece to a larger piece of card that I covered with Rose Copper Glitter Kiss.  I stamped the word Happy and cut it out with a tag die and mounted it in the upper left corner.  I made two small Button Flowers and glittered them, then seated them in the lower right corner.  I added some leaves from the Magnolia Corner die as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8"   in size.  All for now, Sue x

  4. Morning Sue and all lovely blog friends. Oops had a lie in lol.
I really admire how perfect your layered sentiments work out, that minute but so spot on, not one offset but TWO offset blows my mind lol, my hands shake so much when I'm offsetting my small sentiments and it slips from my fingers/tweezers, I think if I even attempted this it would look like a foreign language. I just love today's inspiration it's fantastic. Sending love and thanks xxx

  34. Hi Sue, a great card and even better for using up what some would call scraps. Like many others I am in awe of your ability to layer up three of these very fine frames, I struggle to put just one on straight!
