Greetings Of The Season

Hi crafters!  I decided to pull out some older dies sets to create this card.  I cut the Slimline Inner Scalloped Rectangle Aperture Trio in white, leaving a wide border around it.  I cut the Believe In The Magic die out of tan card and inked it while it was still in the die with Tea Dye ink.  I added it behind the left aperture.  In the centre I cut several trees out of green card and glittered them, then added a blue moon, also from the Believe In The Magic die set.  In the third aperture, I cut the fireplace from the Twas The Night die set and added black boots and tan wood beneath.  I cut the Santa's sleigh from the Believe In The Magic die set in black and glued it to the outside edge of the aperture.  I used the Greetings Of The Season die cut in black and glued it to the bottom edge of the card.  I completed the card with white and black mats and layers.    The finished dimensions are 5"  x      9 1/4" in size.

Just a quick note to let you know that we will be doing the August Festive Die Release starting tomorrow morning at 6am.  It was moved up a couple of weeks due to some delays in other stock that was supposed to be released this week.  All for now, Sue x

  21. Hi Sue
    Happy Monday everyone x
Love today’s card. Mind you I’ve never met a Sue card that I haven’t loved. Said it before and I’ll say it again - you are the only person in my life that I will allow to mention Christmas before November x
DL cards are my all time favourites and this is a perfect example of how your new slimline dies can be used to resurrect all of your old dies that have been sitting in my collection feeling left out and forgotten about x
Loving the way your new dies are launched. Smaller launches but a treat every month - wonderful x

Although I have the Believe in the Magic die I did not immediately recognise the elements from it so am very pleased to see the instructions today, thank you. Looking forward to another launch tomorrow although I can already hear my bank card crying :-)

  40. The recent weather has felt quite autumnal at times and autumn is my absolute favourite season of all, it’s the time to start thinking about Christmas and winter boots and snuggling under blankets and cosy nights in. So bring on these festive samples as it just adds to the excitement!
