Hi bloggers! I thought I would share this lovely floral panel card today. I started by cutting the Peony, the Flowering Dogwood and the Cosmos Floral Panels in white. I used Distress ink on a smoothie to dab colour onto them (Spun Sugar, Crushed Olive and Mustard Seed). I cut three solid backings for them out of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet added to them. I peeled the backing off and attached each one of the panels to a backing piece, then coated them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I added mounting foam to the back to raise them. I used the Rope Chain embossing folder on a larger piece of white card and used it as the background. I added the panels in an offset manner to the embossed card. I cut the Just Because sentiment out of Arctic Blue card and glued it to the top right corner. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue and all that visit. Hope your birthday weekend was a real blast, I'm presuming your two special girls stayed and celebrated over the weekend, what fun you must have had.
ReplyDeleteOnto these new amazing dies, I feel honoured to have received the Daisy set from the launch and I was surprised just how big they are and not only that they are so gorgeous and also perfect for book Mark's to match a card. Not long after I received my die my dear long term friend had a bereavement and it gave me the reason (as sad as they are) to make her a card, kept clean and simple these flower panels make the most beautiful any occasion card so thank you Sue for helping me at a time when my crafting mojo stopped when covid hit the world. Much love to all have a nice day xxx

Good Morning Sue. This morning card is really beautiful. I love the pastel colours on the white backgrounds. I really wouldn't have thought about using different panel on the one card. But it has worked. I love the peony one .. I have a beautiful one just under my front window where I can see it from my settee. It's a gorgeous deep red and in full bloom at the moment. The only thing is they don't last very long. Not like your lovely ones on this card that will last forever. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
