The More Candles, The Bigger The Wish

 Hello crafters!   I selected some powder pink, old rose, black and white card for the colour combo for today's card offering.  I started by embossing the Powder Pink card using the Quilted Pillow Embossing folder.  Next I cut The More Candles die out of black card and old rose card.  I glued the black card to a piece of white card the same size, then used the fall away stars from the Old Rose die cut and pieced them back into the design.  I added the die cut to a scalloped backing piece cut out of old rose card.  I used a small piece of powder pink and just cut the cupcake in the corner out.  I nipped it out of the piece and taped the back of it to keep the fall away piece intact.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it, then added the old rose frosting back on top.  I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the candle flames and added it back on top of the original die cut.  The card was completed with white, old rose and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now.
