For You

Hello crafters!  Back to the Glitter Kiss for this one!  I am sort of in love with this colour!  I started with a piece of card and covered it with Vintage Violet Glitter Kiss (which is more of a deep blue than violet) and allowed it to dry thoroughly.  Using the Double Stitched Squares, I cut three different sized squares.  The largest was used as the background base.  Next I cut the Decorative Squares in three sizes out of white card.  I matted the two of the smaller squares of the glittered card and layered them in a diamond orientation, then a square and back to a diamond, ending with the solid Decorative Square in white.  I cut the For You sentiment out of a bit of the glittered card and glued it to the centre of the card.  I used the flower die from the Magnolia Corner and cut them to make two flowers in white and assembled them.  I added them to the side of the sentiment and used the Magnolia Corner pieces as accents around them.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x
