Every Day Is A New Adventure

Hello bloggers!  I grabbed a piece of pixie powder card from my stash for this one.  I used Burnt Orange and Scarlet Mist on this one.  I cut the Every Day Is A New Adventure die out of it.  I backed it with a piece of white card and added mounting foam to the back.  I cut the die again out of black card and nipped away the sentiment from it.  I glued it on top of the original one to give it more boldness.  I cut a larger piece of white card and added sticky tape around the edge.  I coated it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and added the die cut to the centre.  I used a few extra pieces of the pixied card and cut out more of the butterflies from the background.  I nipped them away and added them around the edge of the card as well as a few to the actual die cut.  I used the scalloped background die from the set and extended it to fit the extra white sparkled card.  I added it in black.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  4. Hi Sue and all that enter our peaceful sanctuary. Why dont I remember this, my nurse has said it's a particular medication I'm taking its known to mess up your memory, which was a relief at first but with another very large cake devoid of wishes following right behind me I'm thinking it's not the number of candles it's the number of brain cells that keep waving goodbye. I'm loving the colours of pixie powders used on your stash. I keep thinking that once I've finished the last card (then I remember another I need to do) I'll start to make more A4 pixie backgrounds then I remember I'm not doing the market anymore so why do I need these beautiful explosions. So guess what, I'm going to enjoy your backgrounds and our beautiful crafters pixie backgrounds and try and remember just one wish I have to replace the candles xxx

Apart from the matting dies it’s lovely to see that you have used only one die for the focal/sentiment elements
