Hi bloggers! I started today's card by using Sun Yellow, Scarlett Red and Mango Blaze Pixie Powders all over a piece of white card. Next I used the centre die from the Millie die set to cut the design randomly all over into the card. I added a piece of sticky adhesive sheet to a piece of white card and then attached the background to it. I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the remaining exposed adhesive areas. I cut the Decorative Flag die and used it for my sentiment. I cut the Get Well sentiment out of an extra piece of the pixied background and added a black shadow to it then glued it onto the flag die. I used the Petal Pocket flowers and made one of each size in white. I added centres to all of them cut from the pixied card with pearls in the very middle. The Lace Edged Leaves were used in white as accents around the flowers. I completed the card with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now. Sue x
A very cheerful coloured card Sue xx Hazel

Hi Sue hi everyone hope you are all safe and well. What a citric luscious picture of beauty, why don't I cut into card more often I ask myself although for one of the 'thinking of you' cards I've been asked for I did actually cut into the card with the die I was using, I have Millie, so I'm going to try this with her but I know for certain it won't look anywhere near as beautiful as this sample.
ReplyDeletePLEASE BE SENSIBLE WHILST THIS HORRIBLE VIRUS IS WATCHING AND WAITING FOR ITS NEXT BITE.
I'm so angry that thousands of people think it's okay to be totally selfish towards each other, it's no wonder that those of us that are shielding due to extreme vulnerability are scared to leave the house when our fellow humans are so uncaring. Sorry Sue, I'm so cross at what the UK citizens are doing here, life is precious and this isn't just flu, it kills 😢
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY SAFE AND SENSIBLE xxx 💖

STAY SAFE STAY ALERT
Morning Sue,
ReplyDeleteThis is a luscious card! It's orange juice, lemon ice cream and sunshine. Everything that makes you feel better after an illness.
Gorgeous background. I must give your idea a go but I know that I'll probably end up in a right mess trying to get it stuck down flat but it's surprising what extra bling or flowers can cover up.
Hugs xxx Pauline

A lovely card and all those pixied Millie fallouts could make another card.We have been treated to pocket flowers two days in a row also. Love them too and they go so perfectly with the fancy flag. All the details blend so well together. Can you tell, this card is a favorite?
ReplyDeletePlease everyone stay safe and take care. We have the same problem here in the states, sadly. I actually thought the UK would show more concern for their fellow citizens.
Wishing the best to all,
Stephanie K
