Hello crafters and Happy Valentines day! I didn't have anything with hearts to share today so how about a card for sweet friends? I started with a piece of
Old Rose card and embossed it with the
Brambled Rose embossing folder. Next I used the
Moonlit Pink Luna Paste and applied it over the embossed card for a lustrous feel. I cut the embossed piece into three pieces and added mounting foam, then attached them to another piece of white card. Next I cut the
Decorative Squares die into a frame. I added mounting foam to the back and attached it in a diamond orientation to the card. I cut the
Sweet Friends Sentiment Circle in white and black and used the black behind it as a shadow. I glued it inside the frame. I made a small flower using the extra flowers from the
Magnolia Corner and added more
Moonlit Pink Luna Paste to the tips of the petals. I seated it with small leaves cut from the
Magnolia corner. The card was completed with white and Old Rose mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now. Sue x

ReplyDeleteWho needs a heart sample when we have beauty like this, the old rose cardstock caught my attention straight away but the Luna paste looks beautiful, add your new Decorative square and your circle sentiment and the tint magnolia petals that to me is Valentine message to everyone that gathers to the best blog to find inspiration. ReplyDeleteLovely card this morning. Any friend would be over the moon to get it. I had to look up the Luna Paste....there are 3 shades of rose/pink. Who knew? I have several but not this one but will try with what I have as I have this embossing folder which is a favorite. I need quite a few birthday cards coming up so may have a try on this background for two of them.
