Hello bloggers! in it's Arctic blue and white colour combo, I hope you think frosty Christmas when you see this one! I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the
Nordic Tiles embossing folder for texture. Next, I cut the
Denise die using the outer decorative die as a base. I cut three of the inner decorative dies, with two of three three using the snowflake centre and the last one I left solid. I backed one of the smaller dies with an arctic blue card, then added it to the larger base with foam. I attached all three going across the card in a diamond orientation with the largest one in the centre overlapping the two smaller dies. I cut the
Let It Snow shadowed sentiment out of arctic blue and added a white shadow base, then glued it into the centre of the card. The card was finished with coconut white and arctic blue mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, my apologies for the lateness of my comment. I love this card and it certainly has a frosty feel with the white and arctic blue. I had to scrape the car this morning and now am going to bed with the world outside my windows already covered with a thick frost, winter is surely on us.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blog, Surekha, the Wilsonettes think it is the best blog on the block.

A beautiful card Sue xx
ReplyDeleteThis design is a really COOL card! We are expecting snow here for Monday. I hope the snow is not too deep nor the temperature too extremely COLD. My Mother used to say, when I was growing up, that it would not snow if it got too cold. She was wrong! It snows plenty here in the mountains when the temperatures go way below freezing. And the snow likes to stay around waiting for more snow to come and add to the measurable snow total.
ReplyDeleteHello Sue and all
ReplyDeleteOh such a lovely card from the gorgeous icy colours (very refreshing with our 30+ C temperatures here- but I do love summer) to the Denise die and gorgeous embossing folder too.
Hugs
