Hi crafters! I just love this Leafy Frame and wanted to share another easy card using it. I cut the Leafy Frame out of coconut white card, leaving a wide border around it. I cut it a second time in black n used it as a shadow. I added mounting foam to raise the frame then went to work on the background. I used Fossilised Amber, Peeled Paint and Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink on a piece of white card. I randomly applied them and then blended the colours into each other. I splattered it with a gold paint pen and allowed it to dry well then added the Leafy Frame over it. I cut a thin frame using the Stitched Squares. I nipped the frame into strips and added them around the outside of the Leafy Frame, slightly overlapping. I cut the Happy Everything sentiment in white and black, using the black one as a shadow. I glued it into the centre of the frame. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8" in size.
Just a quick note to remind you that I will be doing the drawings and posting the names of the winners for the Nov. Blog Launch release. Don't forget to drop back by the blog later this afternoon to see if your name is among the winners! All for now, Sue x
