Hi crafters! I am back playing with the Opal Polishes! I just love the Mother of Pearl look they give! I started with a piece of black card and used the Pink Thistle, Blue Lavender, Blue Parakeet and Green Lemons Opal Polishes randomly across the card. I set it aside and allowed it to dry thoroughly. Next I cut a piece of coconut white card and added the Hexagonal Border cut in white to the top and bottom edge of the card. I used the Double Stitched Ovals to make a multi layered white frame. I added mounting foam and seated it on the opal polish background, the trimmed away the excess card from the frame. I seated it in the centre of the two white borders. Next I cut two of the small butterflies from the Petite Butterflies set out of card that had pink and yellow opal polish on it. I glued them to the top corner of the frame. I used the Exquisite Poppy die cut in white to create a flower and edges the petals with Lavender Blue opal polish. I seated it on the side of the frame and cut Lace Edged Leaves as accents. I cut a Pierced Flag die in white and added the Noble thanks cut in a left over piece of the opal polish background and glued it to the flag. White on white mats and layers completed the card. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
