Merry & Bright

Hello crafters!  It is a clean and simple Christmas card for today's offering!  I started with a piece of coconut white card as my base.  I used the Holly and Berry Border and cut it in white twice.  I glued them together to get a longer border and have three full leaves on each section.  I nipped away the outer partial holly sections.  Next I added the leaves in green to each of the three sections by gluing them behind the hollies.  I added red berries to each of the sections on top.  I glued the lengthened border diagonally across the card, allowing the holly areas to turn up slightly.  I cut the Merry & Bright out of Ruby red card and attached them to the shadow pieces which I cut in white.  I glued them to the top and bottom areas of the holly for a bold sentiment statement.  White on white mats and layers were used to complete the clean and simple card.  The finished dimensions are 6" x  7" in size.  All for now.     Hi Sue, a lovely CAS card and one that would be good for batch making. The holly border is lovely and sometimes I think the sentiment should make a statement as on here rather than just being something we add on.

    Hi Sue. As you said "Clean and Simple" and this is a really lovely card that should be easy to recreate. I am sure that there are plenty of people out there who would prefer to receive a card like this rather than one with all the bells and whistles like the ones I usually send.
