Hi crafters! I started this card by cutting the
Elsa die into a piece of coconut white card. I moved the die along and extended it to create a larger background. I backed it with piece of
Iris card. Next I cut the
Millie die in both white and black. I offset he black and then added an Iris backing to it. I used the outer cutting edges and cut a thin black frame that I glued onto the edge of the
Millie die. I cut the centre of the Millie die in white and added a white backing too it. I cut the
Thinking of you in Iris card and added an offset black die cut to it before gluing it to a white shadow backing. I seated it in the centre in a stacked orientation with foam. I cut the
Hummingbird in Iris for the top layer, black for the middle layer and a white base. I assembled it and added it to the side of the focal element. The card was completed with white, black and Iris mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteAt first look I thought the background was made with a stencil until I read your method, such a pretty sample and the gorgeous Millie die holds the most gorgeous pattern. I couldn't think of a nicer way to start the day, thank you xxx

ReplyDeleteThis blue and white card reminds me of the wonderful trip and the Delftware I saw in the Netherlands from a recent trip. I also got to see those lovely tulips, too - by air and land. So pleased they were still blooming. Great memories for me.
