Thanks

 Hi bloggers!   Today's card is a simple card done with alcohol inks.  I started with a piece of the new Ranger Silver Sparkle card designed to work with Alcohol inks.  I used Sailboat Blue and Cool Peri and Raspberry alcohol inks over the silver card.  I held the card up and allowed the colours to run to the other end of the card.  I allowed it to dry well, then used the decorative die from the Vanessa die set to cut the design into the card.  This did require several passes back and forth as the card is quite thick.  I added pearls to the flowers and backed it with white card.  I cut the Thanks Shadowed sentiment in black and used a white shadow.  I added it to the centre of the design with foam.  I added this piece to another slightly larger piece of white card that I added a border of Iced Snow around the edge.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue. Ohhh my goodness I'm speechless at the beauty of this sample and the whole effect of the paper, colours, and the gorgeous design from the Vanessa. I have also had the pre-launch email showing your new designs and wish I hadn't I have such a long list of what I need to do with our monthly finances, my keeper could do with shedding a few pounds to fit into his summer trousers, so the grocery bill can be reduced by half, in the meantime this stunning inspirational piece of art work will keep my spirits up and a smile on my face, enjoy your day whatever your plans and take care xxx

    A beautiful card today. Such a lot of detail in the die and the technique you have used for the background is interesting. I have not heard of this before so I will have to look for some more information on line.

    Love the effect of the alcohol inks. Have just bought some to give them a try, but don’t have any special silver card, but will give them a try anyway. I am trying hard not to look at your next die release, I prefer to see them in use when you launch them!
