Hello everyone! Welcome to day four of the blog launch. This post is dedicated to showing off the first of the new Filigree Artistry Collection dies, the Woven Heart. The idea behind this concept was to create dies to use that would look as if you you had done Pergamano techniques of piercing and tearing vellum. The lines have a similar style to those found in traditional Pergamano, but not the hours of work that are needed. Moreover, the dies look equally as beautiful whether they are cut out of vellum or card so they are really versatile. If you think this new concept will be something that you would like to try, just leave a comment on this post and you will be included in the drawing. The next next post will be at 12 noon today. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteMorning and Happy Easter Sue. What next ? Grunge style festive (ish) dies, 3D layering dies now pergamano looking dies, amazing, where on earth do you get these idea's ? I'm so pleased that you do, you really are a Fairycraft Mother, what you'd like and what you want to use on projects becomes everyone's wish come true and this new die is proof of that, we wish we had the time and knowledge for such a complicated craft and you create a gorgeous die to cover that but a lot easier to acheive - brilliant and a gorgeous sample to start our day thank you. Wherever you are enjoy your day xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, Wow what a fabulous die set. An entirely different look from a die. I love it. The card is beautiful too.

ReplyDeleteLove this concept, certainly one I would find most useful. The heart has a padded look to it & reminded me of the satin hearts you got on cards at one time before the postage increased for thicker cards! Now I am really showing my age. Can’t wait for the next instalment but will be out most of the day so will catch up later.
ReplyDeleteForgot to wish you & all Wilsonettes a very Happy Easter!

Hi Sue, sorry this is so late but it has been a long day and I was determined to comment before I fell into bed. Love the concept of your Filigree Artistry, I have always admired Pergamano work (and the people who do it!) but know that I would never have either the time or the patience to do it so I am thrilled that you have given us the opportunity to get the effect without all the hard work :-) Your card is lovely and the Woven Heart reminds me of a beautiful padded satin cushion.
ReplyDeleteNow going to catch up on the rest of the day.
