Holographic Background Card
Hi bloggers! Grab your cool holographic glitters and you can create this really quick and easy card, but it's so sparkly in person!
The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Good morning Sue. Oh my word bling-a-licious. I feel the holographic glitters need a home here with me. This is gorgeous and I've seen so many beauties on fb as the February Challenge, you should see them Sue, you'd be so proud ☺ I'll be watching the tutorial a little later for when I too own this stunning glitter. Whatever your plans for the day have lots of fun and laughter xxx
Hello Sue, Gorgeous sparkly card. I have a few glitterbitz but as yet none of the holographic glitters, will have to change that. The Celtic background die is beautiful too Marion S x
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a lovely glittery sample today, I will watch the video later but really like this one, suitable for all occasions xx
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Hi Sue and lovely wilsonettes x Fabulous card Sue x the glitter background looks amazing and cannot wait to watch the video later to see how you created this stunner x thankyou Sue x Theresa w in Berks xxx
Hi Sue What a ‘stunner ‘! I really love that Celtic background and it is fabulous with all that shimmery, glittery gorgeousness behind it. I will look forward to a nice feet up moment later with a cuppa so I can watch the tutorial and give it the undivided attention it deserves! The holographic Glitterbitz really are amazing. I did treat myself to 3 pots of them at Ally Pally back in September and they are magical. I really have got to pull my finger out and get into the crafty zone. My crafting activities have been non existent for quite a while now. My head is full of get up and go but my body is not singing from the same song sheet! Happy Saturday everyone Crafty hugs PP Yvonne x
Hi Sue A beautiful card. As Steph has said, this card was used as inspiration for the February Challenge on the Facebook group Showing Off The Sue WilsonStyle and there are some lovely sparkly homages to it using various dies. B xx
Morning Sue, this is the card used for the February challenge, I am not one for glitter but bought some holographic glitterblitz to enter with and I just love it. Your card is really beautiful. Love Jean xxx
I had a go at this and added sentiments to personalise to my mums birthday. She loved receiving it as much as I did making it. Thanks for the inspiration x.
Wow this is a beautiful card sue what you have done with the dies an glittei just love it what a gift fora special day for s lucky someone Thank you Love always June Horrocks xxxxxx
Good Morning Sue. This is brilliant and so glittery. I have to try this...I don't have the Celtic circles...but I do have the squares...and I imagine the effect would be the same. The video is brilliant I love watching you put together your beautiful cards. Another one to save and try. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
A beautiful card, but I prefer something a little more subtle than the bright holographic. Not that it would put me off your card as I could use whatever glitter I liked.
Good morning Sue. A great start to the day watching your fantastic video and the card is superb. I have great intentions for my post-surgery and am assembling what I think I will need from the wonderful Sue Wilson collections. Have a great weekend. Marie P.
You're definitely "Queen of the bling", Sue. The close up photos show the glitter off really well. Thank you for such a lovely card. Hugs xx Pauline in S.A.
Hi Sue, this is a gorgeous card. Watching you burnish the glitters together and seeing how they change as you moved the card has made me say I don't just *want* some, I *need* some. NOW! I don't have that background but would love to try it with some of your others. Thanks for the tip about fixing the vellum to the frame before adding mounting foam, it does away with the worry of glue showing through.
Good afternoon all, I love this card and you have given me the inspiration to use the background die only used it once so far, got all sorts of colour combinations running through my head now.
Great sparkly card design with Glitter Bitz. So glad you told us crafters we can combine all the left over bitz into a separate jar to use again as a combination glitter bitz. Glitter Bitz are one of my favorite items when I want sparkle on my cards. Thanks for the video.
What an eye-catching background this card has. I watched you making the "mix jar" and it was quite fabulous. Maybe just buy all the colors and dump them together straight off, ha! Have a wonderful Saturday. Stephanie K SC/USA
