Hello bloggers! It is now Lesley's turn on the blog! Wisteria and white is the colour choice for today's offering (although it always photographs sort of grey :( I'm not sure why!) I cut the Lesley die out of wisteria card using both of the decorative outer dies. I backed it with white, I cut a multi layered frame using the Double Stitched Squares. I added the frame over the background using mounting foam. Next I cut a thin circular frame using the Double Stitched Circles and added it to the background. I used the All The Best shadowed sentiment cut in wisteria and added a white shadow. The card was accented with a Petite Forget Me Not flower and leaves. I inked the edges of the flower with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink. The card was completed with white and wisteria mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteLisa is holding up so well considering. Although she's smiling her way through the cat photos being shown, I bet her heart is full of pain, that's what you call professional.

Hello Sue,
ReplyDeleteThe Lesley die is lovely with so much detail. Each time I look at it I see pineapples in each of the corners, don't ask me why and I know you must think I am crazy. I like how you have cut both of the decorative dies into the card, it gives a totally different look done this way. The pretty Forget Me Not is the perfect accent.
Have a marvelous day.
Beverly

ReplyDeleteSorry for being absent for the past few days I was struck down with the dreaded flu and was unable to lift my head from my pillow. I have caught up with your beautiful past posts love every one.
The way you created your flower with the Petite Forget-Me-Not flower die is lovely and unique. Also enjoy seeing your multi-layered frames showing a step up and step down feature. Your Lesley die is showing beautifully.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon, love this die, well how could I not as it's 'me' lol, love the colour too more what I would call a shade of Heather stunning flowers again too, I still need more practice at those as they never seem to turn out right for me.
