Hi bloggers! I have had this card design in my head for ages so I was so pleased to be able to get it out of my head and on to paper! LOL I started by selecting some decorative papers from the Teresa Collins Paper Pads Creative Expressions did in conjunction with them years ago. I wanted a sort of vintage look for it, but with a bit of colour. I selected some of the orange designs to go with the black and cream designs. I cut into a piece of the orange design paper with a craft knife, then cut my Scissor die from the Sewing Accessories die set and arranged it so it looked like it was cutting through the paper, using one of the black and cream patterned papers as the base. I cut the circle from the Eliza die in black and used it as a base for the pin cushion, safety pin and several buttons. I used more of the button dies to hold down the corners of the folded card (actually they were glued into place that way!). I cut the sentiment in black and glued it to the upper corner with a silver thimble. I completed the card with milk, rust and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Thank you Sue

I saw this card on Instagram and love the way the scissors cut out part of the patterned paper. A Sue Wilson ingenious touch. I love this set except I can't sew a lick and only have one friend that does so its probably not a good choice to ad to my collection when I want so many others. I do appreciate it and think this is an awesome card, however.
