Hi crafters! It's an offset squares card for today's offering. I started with a piece of coconut white card as a base. I used the Squared Squares to cut three frames out of various shades of purple in different sizes. I offset all the squares so they lined up at the left side of the card and glued them into place, I cut a wide stitched flag and added the Thanks sentiment to it. I made a fancy flower using the Starlight Daisy and seated it at the end of the flag. I accented it with leaves and curly ferns sprigs. White and Lilac mats and layers were used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteHope you’re having a good day, hugs Brenda XXX
Refreshing!
ReplyDeleteThis card makes a big impact using what isn’t there, in both the flowers and the frames.
Ombrés never appeal to me, but this is a spectacular way to move through the intensities of a color.
Donita

Nice card Sue though I am not a big fan of the squared squares. I much prefer the look of your stitched or pierced edges - just an old fashioned girl I guess and these are too modern for me lol.
