Double Mask Background
Hi bloggers! Sometimes you can get really nice effects when using one mask, then a completely different one over the top of it. I have used this technique in today's video.
The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
Good Morning Sue Amazing card this morning and so different. The effect on the background looks stunning. Thank you for sharing and doing the video. Crafty hugs and well wishes to all... Wendy
Morning Sue, I do like the various ways in which you display this die and today's is no exception. The sentiment reminds me to wear my tee shirt this morning which says the same. ( just wish my body believed it too) lol Have a Great weekend. Hugs xx Pauline
Good morning Sue. I not only wish my crafting was at your level but I wish I had your knowledge and confidence to just try these things then realise they work so good together. I've said many a time I have no creative vision nor an artistic brain which is why I value your daily inspiration. This is a lovely sample and the background really highlights your frame as do the choice of colours you've used to pick out the various subjects such as the vine and glasses plus the wine bottle, who wouldn't spend time looking over and over this type of card once out of the envelope, it's a card that would give such a lot of pleasure to the recipient. Thanks for another lovely start to the day, hope yours is just as lovely no matter how your spending it xxx
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, gosh this is something to look forward to, not seen this technique before, will watch the video later. It is a beautiful sample too
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good Morning Sue. Another lovely card. I can see this aimed at special birthday milestones for the senior citizens especially the male...... but then...... I know some of my lady line dancers who would appreciate it too.😉. It makes a statement in the sentiment that is fun without being offensive and everything works together. Thankyou again Sue. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

People that it would suit not me though although I am aged it's not to. Perfection. Lol Have a lovely day Sue Hope you are keeping well Theresa G x
Hi Sue Will watch the video later - that background is really effective so I am intrigued as to how you did it. I am planning on watching quite a few of you videos tomorrow after Jake has gone. Life has been hectic over the last few weeks so I have saved them up so I can have a ‘Sue fest’. You never know it may even give me the push I need to put my crafty stash to good use. That said the temperatures are going to be ridiculously high yet again for the next week or 2 so the jury is out, Happy Saturday everyone Crafty hugs PP Yvonne x

Hello Sue. I have watched the video and love the way you have made the background. It adds even more dimension to the card, such a good idea. Love the card too.
The double mask technique has produced a background which looks like cork (to me) so is ideal for this frame. A lovely card, lovely delicate colours. Thank you Sue.
The double stenciled background is very effective and appears easy to achieve. I love all these "card front" dies which are fun and simple to make a quick, charming card. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, Stephanie K SC/USA
