Extended Squares Card
Hi bloggers! Today's video shows how to take a square die and extend it into a rectangle shape, adding much more versatility to it!
The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x
This is a beautiful card. I love how you make your dies work for you. So often we just a take a die at face value and don't look beyond. You are an inspiration to us.

Looks like a key element of this video was left on the editing room floor, as they say. How did you get the frame cut in white, which allows little squares of blue to show through, to be a rectangle instead of a square? I'm baffled. Anyway the result is a lovely card. Once again you make contrasts do your bidding, with all those swirls and flowers and the silky bow loops kept in line with a perfectly orderly little regimentation of squared squares.
So beautiful! The recipient would feel thoroughly thanked!
The squared squares border really sets off this card as does the pop of darker blue behind the focal element. Love the bling butterflies too, great video as usual hugs Muriel x
Good Morning Sue. This is lovely. I am only sorry that I can't watch the video till I get home. The WiFi is almost none existent here so it's not loading properly. But I can tell from the photos it is a beautiful card. And this is one technique I really want to try. Can't wait now ....not long now we are home on Thursday. Sending best wishes to everyone. Would love different shaped dies using the same concept - PLEASE!!! x Apologies for my absence over the last week. Can you believe I have had a dreadful cold, which completely floored me.
